Today, I am joined by Caitlin Owens. Caitlin was born and raised in Pickens, South Carolina. She describes herself as," A wild teenager," where she had to quickly grow up around things she shouldn’t have been exposed to. Caitlin met her husband 11 years ago who saved her life. They have two beautiful kids, Mack and CJ.
Substance abuse met Caitlin at around 14, and after having her children, she realized she wasn’t being the mom or wife that she had the potential of being. She decided to not only get and stay sober for them, but most importantly, for herself. She aims to raise her kids right and give them a childhood they won’t have to recover from.
