Hello Everyone, my name is Leilany. I am the co-host of Moore Thoughts Unfiltered, I am normally here with my husband, Dayveon, our host but today he has entrusted me to re-record our pilot episode. I was listening to our [original] pilot and realized it was outdated from before we became Moore Thoughts Unfiltered.
I am here today to shed a little bit of light of what we have to bring to the table. If it's your first time here, thank you for tuning in. If you've been here before, thank you, we appreciate you for continuing to tune in. Moore Thoughts Unfiltered is a podcast brought to you by the Moore's. We are a married couple, we have been together for 10 years we bring very scattered ideas and thoughts, we like to think that we are very opinionated and we have opinions that people don't really think about or are scared to think about and sometimes you just have to put it out there and realize the only true thing in life is change and with that change we are able to grow. We are unfiltered, in a non-vulgar way but more as a true us. And, you know sometimes we throw a few FUCKS in there and its alright and if you don't than its ok if you disagree with what we have to say.
We have realized, as Las Vegas locals, that there is a little bit more to the city of Las Vegas, NV than the average person thinks. We have realized that a lot of people think that we're from Vegas and we live in a hotel, well unfortunately we are here to let you know that is not the case. There is so much more to a city than a street name, there is so much more to the city of Las Vegas than our big corporations, hotels, strip clubs, bars and gambling, our nightclubs and its ok. We are here to serve your vacation, for an experience right but guess what?
We are also a community. We have been able to bring people on to our show that show us what they've got, that show us their passion and let us know a little bit about their story. Everyone loves to talk about themselves but we don't always get to listen. For those of you that are on here right now, you're listening [or reading] and we thank you. We thank you because we are here to make connections. We are so blessed to have already been able to make so many connections within the city and we hope to continue to do so, we have had entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, business owners, artists, musicians, cannabis industry workers, birth workers, nurses and educators. All these different walks of life, to let us know what they do, why they do what they do and why they are going to continue to build their community because the only way we are able to move forward is sometimes by leaning in and helping climb that hike or just turning that corner because it doesn't have to be hard.
We are here to link and show that there is way more to a city than the glitz and glamor and its ok if you just want the glitz and glamor, it's there for a reason. If you want to come and visit something that's true and worthy than you want to come to the local businesses, right now its time to support the little man. The little man is what builds and keeps everyone strong, its the humility, its the passion, its the individualism that helps us to to create and think outside the box and to be able to continue to be creative and to build greater things than we ever thought possible.
