On this weeks episode I sit down with Sam Koester. Sam is the drummer for a metal band called Heavyweight from Iowa and he is also the man behind River City Collective, a promotional company that he runs. We talk what got him into music and playing instruments, then his journey into booking shows. We also talk about the moment he realized to turn it from a hobby to more of a job, and we cover some shows that he has put together. Lastly we round off talking about stories from his time in music. I definitely can't wait to have Sam back on one day just to hear more wild and crazy stories from his youth.
