TMMSP remembers legendary lyricist and composer Stephen Sondheim, who died yesterday at age 91. Largely considered a titan of Broadway, Sondheim also contributed to film as a composer and lyricist for movies such as Reds, Dick Tracy, and adaptations of Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, and West Side Story. Sondheim also dabbled in writing for television and film with Topper and The Last of Sheila. Sondheim spent most of his career redefining musical theater and he leaves behind a monumental legacy of achievement. We here at TMMSP salute Mr. Sondheim and celebrate his work!
