Notre Dame opened the 2021 college football season in Tallahassee, Florida against the Florida State Seminoles. Quarterback Jack Coan made his Irish debut and completed 26 of 35 passes for 366 yards, and tied a school record with 4 touchdown passes, as Notre Dame survived in OT 41-38. The Irish (1-0) will face Toledo next Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium with the kickoff at 2:3- pm ET.
