In this guest-filled episode of The Data Hub w/ Tyrone Taitano, we speak at length about the ocean and our reef, as well as a program sponsored by the Bureau of Statistics & Plans (BSP) that encourages youth to teach other youth about the importance of our marine ecosystem. In the first hour, Tyrone speaks with Patrick Keller (Bureau of Statistics & Plans, Water Shed Coordinator) and Marie Auyong (Management Liaison to NOAA), who talk about the Guardians of the Reef program sponsored by BSP.
In the second hour, we meet some of the participants of the Guardians of the Reef program, as well as Deirdra O'Donnell, a marine biology teacher at Southern High School who is also helping to guide the Guardians' group efforts.
