God is a Good Father who wants to give us our heart desires, and bring us to a place of fulfillment. But our responsibility is to desire in accordance with His will and purpose. In Psalm 37:4, the Bible tells us to delight ourselves in the Lord, and He will give us the desires of our hearts. In Psalm 112:10, the scripture also affirmed that the desires of the wicked shall perish. Many do not see their desires granted because of the wickedness of their desires.
