John 2:1-11 gives an account of the wedding at Cana. The picture of Jesus restoring joy at the celebration of the bridegroom and the bride is a sign and foreshadowing of the provision of Jesus on the cross. On the cross, God proves, through Christ, His intent to keep His vows to us--that He will never leave nor forsake His children, even on their worst days. How can we embody this promise through the way that we care for the world and one another?
