The Third Eye or Ajna Chakra is the 6th Chakra and is located in the center of the forehead between the eyebrows. This chakra is linked with our intuition, awareness, and spiritual connection. When the Third Eye Chakra is out of balance, you may experience close-mindedness, confusion, lack of purpose, feeling lost and depending on others for validation or permission. When this chakra is in balance, you'll be able to easily and frequently tap into your intuition and imagination. You'll have a sense of clarity, emotional balance and mindfulness.
3 Ways To Balance The 3rd Eye Chakra:
1. Meditate: Meditation is one of the best routes to clear out and balance the 3rd eye chakra. Using Binary Tones to stimulate the pineal gland works wonders when focusing on the Third Eye.
2. Sleep: Sleep is really important for the Third Eye Chakra. Making sure to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep is ideal. If you have trouble falling asleep, I recommend putting any and all screens away at least 2 hours before bedtime. If your mind seems quite loud, you can try writing down what's in your brain or doodle until things begin to quiet so the mind and body can get proper rest.
3. Asana + Affirmations: As always, I highly recommend doing asanas while listening to these affirmations. You can find the affirmations on repeat in the link below. Practicing asanas or yoga poses such as Child's Pose and Humble Warrior while listening and/or repeating these affirmations can reprogram your mind and your 3rd Eye Chakra at the same time.
