Episodes 1-3 were waterfowling in the seventeenth and eighteen century in the New World, with E3 being George Washington goes a ducking. Episode 4 covers from the fifteen century to the nineteenth century and how the muzzleloading matchlock developed into the wheellock, a form of flintlock, to the snaphance which used pyrite to produce a spark to ignite the powder, to the true flintlock, which gave us shooting flying.

E5 is about California and especially the Suisun Marsh regarding duck hunting just before the Gold Rush and on into the 1930s. California was and is one of the most fabulous states for waterfowling in the U.S.
