Psalm 146:5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, Psalm 42:11 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
Lamentations 3:21-24 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” Psalm 147:11 But the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.
Psalm 62:5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
Isaiah 40:31 But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
