How can you live a brain healthy lifestyle to ensure you get the most out of your life experience?
In this informational, transformational and motivational episode, Dr. Matthew Galati, general practitioner, hospitalist, and Founder of Brain Changes Initiative, shares how took a traumatic life-threatening event and turned it into a beacon of hope for traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors. After suffering his own TBI, Dr.Galati discovered that there are 5 key pillars to brain health. He applied all of them to his daily living and only months after his injury was able to return to medical school, complete his program, begin practicing medicine, and create Brain Changes Initiative (BCI). Through BCI, he shares his story to demonstrate that recovery after TBI is possible, and that by following a brain healthy lifestyle we can give our body the best possible chance at healing.
