Raj began his comedy journey in Dallas, and as a veteran comedian of 21 years Raj has become an international headliner. Raj was the first comic to be passed at The Laugh Factory on a 6 min guest spot and has since had his first hour special, “Raj Sharma Live from, Las Vegas”, produced and available on Amazon. That same year, he was THE stand-out performer of the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase. In 2016, Raj co-created “Raj Sharma Presents…”, a series of shows benefiting charities across the U.S and Australia and is the headliner and a curator of the “Weirdass Pajama Festival”, the biggest comedy event in India. He is the co-founder of the “Indians at the Improv”, a finalist for “The Lucky 21” on HBO and toured with “The Next Generation of Evil Comedy Tour”. Raj is also an original member of “The Gurus of Comedy”, “Pundits With Punchlines” and “The United Colors of Comedy”. This is a conversation about his journey as a standup thus far.
