“There is no tomorrow without first being in today.” In this episode, Kris talks about immersing yourself in the present moment, what that takes, and what is can feels like. During his service in the US Air Force Kris suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that required him to relearn how to live and process his life. He talks about overcoming and living with his TBI and how it subsequently forced him to take life one day at a time. (A blessing in disguise.) He also dives into the habits and thought processes of acceptance and gratitude, befriending your anger and frustration, and life lessons from his time in Chile that help him with remaining in the present.
