Today is a great day of rejoicing! For Christ loves us, even when we were His enemy. He conquers death and never abandons us. Yet only those who have faith can truly rejoice, for rejoicing must be in truth. Look to the Scriptures! The faithful women who were at the Cross, seek Jesus because they ardently love Him. We too must seek union with Him at all times. They worried over the stone, a great obstacle, that blocked their access to Christ; but God removed it. So too for those who remain faithful to Christ in His Passion. Yes, we are suffering through a passion, but there is no other way to Heaven than the one Christ chose - the Cross! We can't carry the Cross on our own but only with Our Lord. Do not let the devil rob you of Easter joy; for if we are faithful, we are victorious. Let us not walk by sight but by faith!
