Enemy at the Gates is based on the true story of Vassili Zaitsev (Jude Law), a Russian Army soldier who becomes a legendary sniper on the battlefield of Stalingrad. Along the way he falls in love with another sniper, Tanya Chernova (Rachel Weisz), as they try to track down and kill legendary German Marksman Erwin Konig (Ed Harris). Lots of people end up taking dome shots.
