Man on Fire is all about John Creasy (Denzel Washington), a washed-up, alcoholic, former CIA officer. After a failed suicide attempt, Creasy finds new meaning in his life as a bodyguard for Lupita Ramos (Dakota Fanning), the daughter of a seemingly wealthy businessman in Mexico City. After Lupita is kidnapped, Creasy goes on a blood-soaked rampage exacting revenge on anyone who had anything to do with the situation.
