Uncut Gems is a crime thriller all about jewelry store owner and hopeless gambling addict Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler) and an extremely rare black opal he can’t quite keep his hands on. After loaning it out to Kevin Garnett (playing himself) he comes to believe the gem gives Kevin special powers—and decides to wager everything on one of his games. This ain’t your momma’s Adam Sandler movie.
