It is imperative that we know that friendship with the world creates an enemy with the Creator and as such separates us further from His love.When we have studied the principles of God we must assimilate them in order for there to be any usefulness in the knowledge that we have received. The virtues that should be on display are those things which are honest, sincere, just, lovely, pure and of good report.
Sin is manifested because of a failure to guard the heart. The heart needs to be trained to do that which is good instead of harbouring evil. This should not be in accordance with your eyes, but that of the Lord.
