We live in a society where confidence is considered a virtue - confident people must be happy, healthy, rich, etc. But really, we don't live in a time where people have loads of confidence - we live in a time where people can portray loads of confidence on social media, but are afraid of relationships that aren't shallow for fear of being judged or disliked, or worst of all - maybe people will discover that we aren't perfect and we don't have it all together.
