Stephanie LeMelle, MD, MS is the Director of Public Psychiatry Education at Columbia University Dept of Psychiatry/ New York State Psychiatric Institute. She is also the Director of the Public Psychiatry fellowship. Dr LeMelle was Vice President of the American Association of Community Psychiatrist and continues on the board as a “Member at Large”. She is particularly interested in the treatment and care of people with serious mental illness and complex needs. Dr Le Melle has served as advisor and member on several committees and boards that focus on the interface between legal systems and mental health.
