Ep 508 Content
There are no shortage of stories about the destruction caused from Jealous and envy. Since the beginning of time these have been the cause of tragedy and downfall. Every translation of the following bible verse contains the word envy. Mark 15:10, NIV: knowing it was out of self-interest that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him. Comparing ourselves to others leads to feeling like we are falling short. This is often the path to discontent.
Dave Mustane is one of my favorite examples as I often tell the story of Metallica and Megadeath. To my surprise I found that his discontent lead to the downfall of his band Megadeath as well.
Contentment and Happiness are close , but not the same. One offers a momentary feeling while the other is a mindset.
