Carlo Lopez is a musician and music producer who runs his own band: The Echo Park Project. Don't get us wrong, this isn't your ordinary "dad band". The Echo Park Project is a widely popular New York Style Salsa group. This summer, they played LACMA, LMU, and the Gene Autry Museum. Today, Sathya and Brock sit down with Carlo in his beautiful home recording studio to talk about the origins of his band, the way an audience involves themselves at his gigs, and what music means to him in general.
