Do your ears deceive you? Could it be? You don't say! "So You're an Artist" is back! After two and a half months of prepping our new hand drawn podcast art (by Brock) and our new theme song (by Ron Aggabao), we're back with some laughs and art during these troubling times. Our guest today is the great Andrew Themeles of All Things Comedy, The Monday Morning Podcast, and all the wonderfully creative projects he's worked on in his time. Andrew is an example of perseverance. He wanted to pursue a career in comedy, and he did something that many people don't do: he showed up. In this extended episode we talk about the advantages of starting your own projects, our generational gap, and how he came to work so closely with Bill Burr. We also pursue a theme in this episode, and that is to "make it happen". Those three simple words are the key to pursuing any aspiration. Okay. We'll stop now.
Keep up with Andrew on Instagram and Twitter (@themeles) and never miss an episode of "So You're an Artist" by subscribing to the show wherever you get your podcasts! Follow us at our NEW Instagram (@artist.pod) and Twitter (@artist_pod) for behind the scenes and updates. Once again, a very special thanks to Brock Berentsen for our beautiful new cover art, Ron Aggabao for our funky new theme song, and Surya Miele (https://soundcloud.com/user-286188042) for continuing to provide us with his original pieces. See you in two weeks!
