【The Father's Name】
1. The Lord's Father - my Father,
The Lord's God - my God as well;
Now I am Abba’s dear own child.
His bosom - my resting place.
Manifold afflictions I've passed,
But His plan must be the best.
He has planned all my life's journey -
"Through suff'rings enter glory".
2. Father, my time's in Your hand.
Everything's good in its time.
I don't fear the long dark valley.
Dawn of hope will come at last.
Your thoughts plentiful and precious.
Rainbow's bright when rain is past.
Your way is higher than man's way,
Your love is higher than sky.
3. I am well loved as Your Son,
Father, I'm in Your best care.
You knows well all my afflictions,
You have numbered all my hair.
Oft' You uphold me on my right,
Not be shaken will my feet;
My heart's glad and free of worries,
Finishes the course in peace.
