【The Comforter has Come】
1. The Comforter has come. It's the Father's promise.
0' how precious it is, fore'er He lives in me,
Like a well of water, ever overflowing,
And I will never thirst.
2. The Comforter has come. Fore'er He lives in me.
He never leaves me, helps me in time of need.
0' how gentle He is. His love is long and deep.
He'll bring me to glory.
3. He's always by my side. We go through floods and fires.
He speaks comfort to me. He makes me full of hope.
He gives me my vineyard, and I'll sing to the Lord.
I'm in love with the Lord.
5. When I draw near to God, He teaches me the truth,
Makes my heart live again. I'm captured by the Lord:
His love draws me away. The world I lay aside,
Yearn for His love only.
7.When I preach the Lord’s word, You co-work with me,
Gives me the strength of life, kingdom I gain for Him.
Your heart is fervent to accomplish Your will,
Thank you for staying by my side.
【John 7:37-39】
37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'" 39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
