Psalm 63 gives us words for a life of delight and submission to God. Ephesians 5:21-6:9 highlights that submission also must extend to our relationships with each other. Submission is confusing and painful, but it leads to a life of freedom and joy. It frees us to "lay down the terrible burden of always needing to get our own way" (Richard Foster).
