Pleasant’s history. Built in the 1800s, this sacred space represents generations of faith, strength, and resilience.Efforts are underway to restore and protect the building while also advancing the development of the Mt. Pleasant Black History Museum. This work ensures that the stories, contributions, and legacy of Black Iowans are honored and shared with future generations.Your support matters.
