The word Gospel means "Good News". It wasn't originally a particular religious word back in the day, but after the coming of Jesus and what he did for mankind, there is no other connotation. In fact, some people will align a statement as truly truthful by adding, "That's the 'gospel' truth!"
But has western culture, particuarly American culture, shaded what the Gospel is, why it is so costly, why mankind so desperately needs it, and why we must honor it's consequences?
