Facts on Christian Prayer: (1) God always answers. (2) Sometimes it's no, but it always leads to something better. (3) Sometimes it's wait, not yet.

But the reply is rarely, if ever, an audible "Wait." It's usually silence. We know it's not because God speaks so softly (after all, whole complex galaxies formed as easily for him as it is for us to exhale condensation clouds in cold weather - the physics of which he made, also!)

So why does God want us to keep asking? Why do we need to be persistant.

Because it's WE who need to learn to seek and ask, not HIM to pull through. Unlike other world religions where volume of prayer or accessories to prayer bring results, Biblical prayer assumes that we have the answer ... but faithful persistence is commanded. This is the context of Nate and Sean's conversation, today.
