Centered around the failures of the education system, we discussed how schools can be a detrimental and dehumanizing environment for teachers and students. Furthermore, White suggests a series of changes or steps that could be taken to reverse or mediate the harm such as humanizing students, eliminating toxic expectations and creating healthy relationships that affirm and empower them both.
