Nick chimes in with his thoughts on the Sixers and Chris proclaims them to be a better team without the MVP Joel Embiid. We then move on to the other series in the East the Heat vs Knicks. Our resident Heat Culture Connoseouir Nick shares his thoughts on the series and how far the Heat can go in the playoffs. We then debate the firing of Coach Budenholzer with the Bucks while discussing how fortunate some of these coaches and teams were in winning - looking at you TORONTO!
We move on to Western Conference breakdown before Chris Billings becomes Nuggets in 5 guy and makes another proclamation that Nick and Tony agree with. Devin Booker does not play defense. This leads to the Kevin Durant talk and his career decision. Being a mercenary basketball player makes you forgettable and reactionary when compared to some of his peers. We get to the problems the Suns have in the KD acquisition and how the Nuggets will exploit it in their series before moving onto the Warriors-Lakers series.
The inconsistency of Anthony Davis performance is discussed along with the similarities of these teams to the teams that succeeded in the bubble. Chris won't respect the Lakers until Anthony Davis plays well two consecutive games. We end the show by sharing our finals predictions:
