One thing that I coach on almost weekly is what I call your actions and your expectations.
What happens ALL OF THE TIME with any goal and in so many parts of life - is that we create this great expectation. We have goals and thoughts of what our future will be and we see the finish line. (I love this - I think it is so important).
But we end up not getting there in our exact timeline and exactly how we imagined and become FILLED with mind drama! That mind drama always leads us to giving up, feeling frustrated, and worst of all - losing belief in ourself and our abilities. That loss of belief might not seem like a big deal - but that kind of shit can hang around and build upon itself for life.
SO OBVIOUSLY we want to avoid this.
If you’ve ever said something like: “I did everything right! I was supposed to have an extra $300 to put into savings this month. The process isn’t working! The budget isn’t working. I did everything right.” OR “I should have lost weight by now. I’ve been doing everything for a month!" OR “I’ll just get through it.”
