Description

I used to have this thought that if I couldn't do something completely - why do it at all??

Becoming a teacher and learning about how people learn is probably what made me change my mind on it. I realized that there are SO many different reasons to still put in the effort, try at something, or make effort on something even if it wasn't 100% perfect or 100% right.

When a student in my classroom couldn't finish a project, that didn't matter to me, because I realized them creating part of the project would always benefit their brain better than doing none of the project.

5 mins practicing a skill is better than 0 mins.

Our health isn't any different. But its so hard to think otherwise - that if we can't have it all, we might as well do nothing.

Maybe you ran out of time for your 30 min walk? 5 mins of walking will always be better than 0. Maybe you didn't prep your meals ahead of time and have to hit the drive through? Grabbing something with protein while making it easier is better than just saying F it.

Today on the pod I walk you through how to combat the all or nothing mindset so that you can keep making forward momentum toward your results - even if some days that is only an inch!
