On today’s episode I speak with Arthur Lynch who is currently a PHD student in sports science (muscle physiology). Arthur is also an IPF powerlifter and has represented the great country of Ireland at multiple IPF world championships.



Today we speak about muscle hypertrophy, delving into how it occurs and how we can optimise the growth of muscle tissue through our nutrition and training. We chat about what you need from a training perspective to stimulate muscle growth all the way to how creatine and caffeine effect performance.



At the beginning of our conversation I had to say to Arthur that I wanted him to simplify everything. Many times intellectual individuals such as Arthur can speak so technical that it’s difficult to understand unless you have considerable background knowledge into that field and he does a great job of it.
