His dissertation is titled "Emergent Counterpublicity: Social Movement and Anti-Racist Student Organizing," and his work can be found in RSQ, Peitho, and the Journal of Contemporary Rhetoric. Dr. Guy McHendry is an Associate Professor at Creighton University. Along with numerous book chapters and a textbook, Dr. McHendry’s recent work can be found in RSQ and Argumentation and Advocacy. Their article, “Parasitic Publics,” in RSQ is the recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Article Award from the Critical Cultural Studies Division of the National Communication Association.
