It’s a new season!!! Gotta start off with a bit of a banger and as the universe would have it, Lizzo is being sued for some really horrible shit. So, I talk about that in the episode and TRIGGER WARNING, I will be making mention on sexual harassment, anti-blackness and fatphobia, so please do protect yourself and your mentals and skip through whatever parts you might need to skip through. 🗣Lizzo got served a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment, fatphobia and racial discrimination
🗣Two other women outside of the lawsuit have come out saying that Lizzo did do those things and they were victims of her too
🗣Lizzo allegedly coerced one of the former dancers to touch a performers naked tiddies
🗣Lizzo allegedly forced people to perform sexual acts to bananas
🗣The dance industry is very difficult to get by in, this coupled with the power that Lizzo holds made it harder for the victims to say no to her
🗣The former dancers were called greedy and selfish when they demanded to be compensated equally to their white counterparts
🗣Lizzo made them re-audition for hours straight and didn't let them have bathroom breaks
🗣A lot of people don’t really care about creating quality, they just want to have access to the power that oppressors have
🗣Lizzo made her security lock a woman in a room to go through her phone
🗣The reaction that society is having towards the situation is quite interesting to observe
