Dr. Olga Meave is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Clinica Sierra Vista. Her U.S. medical career has been focused on serving the most vulnerable in the Central Valley since she started her journey at Clinica Sierra Vista as a Resident Physician in 2015 and going on to serve as Associate Medical Director in 2018. In 2020, Dr. Meave was appointed Chief Medical Officer to oversee the organization’s emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was named Interim CEO in April 2022 prior to her permanent appointment. Dr. Meave earned her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara U.A.G., before doing her Family Medicine residency training at the UCLA-affiliated Rio Bravo Residency Program. She extended her training with a fellowship in Psychiatry for Primary Care from UC Irvine/UC Davis, a fellowship in Pain Relief from the UC Davis Center for Advancing Pain Relief, and attended the UCLA Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Dr. Meave holds positions in honorary and professional societies, including the American Academy of Family Medicine, American Board of Family Medicine, Kern County Medical Society, California Medical Association, UCLA IMG Alumni and Honor Society of NY. Dr. Meave’s leadership, clinical experience and commitment is focused on serving local communities to ensure patients receive high-quality, comprehensive, efficient, and compassionate care.
