Description

This book is incredibly beautiful in aesthetic. But that's all. It is Out of touch, Pandering, Repetitious, Basic, and bursting with Humble Brag.

The book is marketed as a memoir/autobiography and inscribed as "for me" yet proceeds more like the lamest Self Help book you couldn't even imagine and the author attempts to tell you how you can be a better You with nothing but tired and surface clichés.

The constant inner dialogue within narration is also incredibly cringe-worthy. The constant interruptions of thought to give himself a pat on the back or to unnecessarily digress in an attempt at humour fall more than flat, they leave a depression.

The cover, layout, and photos are a joy. But not one that will come even close to outweighing the horrendous "poetry" and prose in the book. If you have money to burn and want a pretty looking book for the shelf, I would still slap it out of your hand and say, "you can do better."

This is the most shallow attempt at depth I've ever read. It would have had more integrity if the pages just repeated, "Live, Laugh, Love" for the entire duration of the book. *No Spoilers*. (REVIEW - WEEK 10, YEAR 4)
