Those Interested in learning more about the Holy Spirit and/or accepting the Holy Spirit in your life see information below:

Accepting the Holy Spirit into your life is a personal and spiritual decision that involves committing to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Here are a few steps that you may wish to consider as you seek to invite the Holy Spirit into your life:

1. Learn about the Holy Spirit: It can be helpful to learn more about the Holy Spirit and what the Bible says about this divine person of the trinity. This can give you a deeper understanding of who the Holy Spirit is and what role they play in the life of a believer.

2. Repent and turn to God: In order to invite the Holy Spirit into your life, it is important to turn away from sin and dedicate yourself to following God. This involves confessing your sins and asking for God's forgiveness, and committing to living a life that is pleasing to God.

3. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you: Once you have turned to God and repented of your sins, you can pray and ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. This is a personal and intimate moment between you and God, and you can pray in your own words, asking God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and to give you the strength and guidance you need to live a life that is pleasing to Him.

Romans 10:9-10 says that “if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

4. Seek out Christian community: Being part of a Christian community can provide support, encouragement, and guidance as you seek to grow in your faith and relationship with God. Look for a church or small group that aligns with your beliefs and values, and make an effort to connect with other believers who can support you in your spiritual journey.

5. Practice spiritual disciplines: There are a number of spiritual disciplines that can help you to grow in your relationship with God and to cultivate the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. These may include practices such as prayer, Bible study, worship, fasting, and serving others.

The Sinner's Prayer (by Dr. Ray Pritchard)

Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen.
