Tattoos used to disgust me. That’s until I realized that some people want to reflect their lives with permanent art. The tattoo artist has a difficult job and I admire that now. I admire the traditions of the art from various cultures. All of this is coming to light because my wife is going to get one and I have had to come to terms with this ugly view of art. Shame on me for being this way.
