In January 1977 Suzanne Armstrong and Susan Bartlett were savagely murdered in their Melbourne home while Armstrong’s toddler slept nearby. After decades of investigation and DNA efforts, a main suspect was arrested in 2024 in Italy, extradited, and now charged with murder and rape. The case remains under active investigation.
