Description

A conversation with Prem Kumta on his background and involvement in being a major contributor in shaping the West Coast's urban landscape for music, dance and forward thinking community driven events. He shared his days of being a promoter to having a breakthrough in creating the Red Bull Beat Riders. We then transitioned into a deep discussion on the importance that all people are allowed the right to have a relationship with nature; plant medicine, psychdelics and ancient healing ceremonies. Highlighted is the need for the Indigenous voices, practices and tribes to not only be involved, but also a leader within this space.

With so much interest building for psychedelics and what they can do for us, its important to note that there's a lot at stake beyond just your ability to access it. We answered questions such as who/what is a real shaman? What are the differences and implications between decriminalization, legalization, and medicalization model for plant medicine? DId you know that there's also someone out there trying to patent psilocybin? Big Pharma is coming and they don't necessarily have your best interests in mind.

Prem Kumta is an entrepreneur, dancer, community builder, visionary and also CEO of the Flavor Group; which has done some amazing experiential and cultural marketing for clients such as Red Bull, SanDisk, Toyota, Razer, Scion, AOL, Hitatchi, Ubisoft, Uniqlo and many more.
