Cameron spent 12 months after college chasing his dream of a professional contract without success. He spent months going to countless pro combines, open tryouts, international trials, and even went as far as selling himself as a player in cold-call emails.
Eventually Cam landed his first contract in New Zealand he thought the toughest part was behind him, not knowing Covid was on the horizon. Cam then proceeded to spend the whole 2020 year out of contract, only landing his next club in early 2021.
Even after having signed multiple contracts, Cam's challenges continued. At the start of 2022 Cam suffered an auto-immune attack that caused him to partially lose his vision in one eye. Through all of this, Cam still continues to play the sport he loves today in Sweden!
