Description

Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series. In this powerful episode, we talk with author, ministry leader, and mental health advocate Jesslyn McCutcheon. Based in South Carolina, Jesslyn is the founder of Fighting Goliath for Mental Illness, a faith-based ministry that supports women living with bipolar disorder, helping them find strength, purpose, and hope through lived experience and the word of God.

Diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder over 24 years ago, Jesslyn has since become an outspoken advocate, speaker, and member of NAMI NW Piedmont and the American Association of Christian Counseling (AACC). Her mission is to normalize conversations around mental health in both faith and public spaces.

We dive into her inspiring journey, her new book Fighting Goliath: Slaying the Giant of Bipolar Disorder, and how she empowers others to conquer hopelessness through faith, support, and community.
