Kiesha Yokers is a certified, trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and somatic life coach. She discovered breathwork during a challenging time in her life, and it was an effective tool to gain clarity and know her next best move. Kiesha's here to teach us some helpful breathwork techniques and to tell us why mindful breathing is so important for our health.

When we intentionally work with our breath breathing patterns, we can shift states to feel to calm or energized, improve sleep, decrease stress hormones, increase comfort and alertness. 

This is breathwork. And, it's not just some new age wellness trend. Breathwork is an ancient practice thought to originate from Asia and Africa.
