The narrative in society emphasises a certain path one must take in order to have a ‘successful’ life. This episode is an acknowledgment of the fact that there are many different paths you can take to living a life that feels enriching and supportive.
Take us for example. Murray left school without completing Year 10. Meanwhile, Renee spent her teens at an academically selective high school, placing in the top percentile for the state in her final exams. Yet, here we both are: pulling up our seats next to each other at the same table, despite the fact that the paths that led us here are incredibly different.
And so this episode is to highlight that there are many paths available to create a life that feels successful for you.
