Today’s guest not only practices paramedicine, but also operates a fitness business. What started out as a project to keep her busy during covid has morphed into a business that helps first responders get stronger, and make their health a priority so that they can serve their communities.

Today we are joined by Georgia Chapel – she’s a paramedic and the founder of Fitness F1rst. A business owned and operated out of Ottawa, Canada that serves the first responder and shift-worker communities.

During this episode Georgia shares with us valuable insights about time management, frequent injuries she’s observed as a coach and first responder, and she makes a strong case for patience and self-compassion as an important strategy for the longevity of one’s fitness regime.
