في قراءتنا لأرميا اليوم، نسلط الضوء على التمرد الذي قام به إسماعيل ضد جدليا ورد فعل أرميا. نقرأ أيضًا عن هزيمة أليفانا وثناء يهوديت على شجاعتها وفضائلها. القراءات لهذا اليوم هي أرميا 41-42، يهوديت 12-14، وأمثال 17:13-16.
In our reading of Jeremiah today, we highlight Ishmael’s insurrection against Gedaliah and Jeremiah’s response. We also read about the defeat of Holofernes and the praise of Judith for her courage and virtue. Today’s readings are Jeremiah 41-42, Judith 12-14, and Proverbs 17:13-16.
I am reading using the Arabic Jesuit Catholic version from Holy Bible App which can be accessed on the app/website. You can also listen to the Bible in a Year podcast in English with Fr Mike Schmitz who did an amazing job. I am using lot of his comments in my reflection as well commentary from different trustworthy resources.
