Blake Jackson, owner & executive chef of Heron Restaurant and Mae & Co Chicken and Oyster Bar, delivers an elevated scratch spin to Louisiana fine dining and oyster bars at his two restaurants. Winner of the Louisiana Food Prize, among other state and national accolades, Blake takes his love of being a southern sportsman, infusing those passed down recipes with world flavors, and puts it on a plate. Chef has owned and operated a multitude of different businesses in the food and beverage realm over the past ten years. He is a passionate advocate for local farmers, as well as the small business community. When not in the kitchen, Blake is busy traveling and exploring with his wife & two kids.
